The UEFA Champions League final is almost here with two English giants, Man City and Chelsea, locking horns at the Estádio do Dragão Stadium, Porto, Portugal.
While many pundits and bookmakers are predicting a win in favour of Man City, Inter Milan legend Wesley Sneijder tips the Blues to win the coveted title for a second time.
Asked whether Man City and Chelsea are the best clubs in Europe at the moment, they Dutchman added: ‘Yes, they are the two best clubs. For me Chelsea wins.
‘They are a strong team with [Thomas] Tuchel and they have a great coach: they have already beaten Manchester City and for me they are favorites.
‘I have seen Chelsea play many times and have pride and strength. I am happy that these two teams are on top of Europe right now.’
Sneijder’s prediction must have come as pleasing news to Chelsea fans who lost the FA Cup final to Leceister and the former Real Madrid star knows a thing or two when it comes to high pressure, elite-level football.
