Music star Burna Boy has called on the Government for an institutional reform in Nigeria.
Burna Boy made this known via his Twitter page where he shared his opinion on what needs to be done for the country to experience the change we have been clamouring for.
According to the singer, there is no reason why a sergeant in the Nigeria Police force would earn 50-60 thousand naira monthly without benefits and expect that things will go right and this will not help the situation of things at the moment.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “It’s a great morning to demand for institutional reform in Nigeria. No reason why a sergeant on the police force earns 50/60k ($127) a month with no benefits! It doesn’t help our plight. #SARSMUSTEND“
Recall that Burna Boy disclosed that he couldn’t join the EndSARS protest because his mum is currently recovering from a surgery and he has to be with her. Despite this, he has taken it upon himself as well as some of his colleagues to lend their voice to the ongoing #EndSARS protest happening across the country.
