Almost everyone celebrate birthdays with joy in their hearts full of Hope for the coming years ahead but music star Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz who is a year older today October 27, 2020 said he had mixed feelings about his birthday.
The reason is not farfetched as the singer took to his social media page to reveal the reason for his mood today.
According to the rapper, he stated that it had been a week since some protesters lost their lives at the Lekki toll gate and which is why he is not in a celebratory mood as peaceful EndSARS protests turned violent and claimed lives of people.
After officially announcing his 30th birthday, Falz prayed for a Nigeria he can proudly call home.
He wrote:”Mixed feelings. It has been a week since we lost our brave soldiers at the toll gate. I have also now officially been on this earth for 30 years. I pray for a much better tomorrow. I pray for a Nigeria that I can truly be proud to call home.”
