Revolutionary! Rebirth of a king. Abubakar Sadiq Abdulsalam, professionally known as Gen. Sadiq, is a new wave Dancehall and HipHop artist.
Although Humble Thug, as Sadiq is sometimes referred to, is too talented to be boxed into any particular genre of music, he’s found his mojo by fusing Dancehall and HipHop genres in creating conscious vibes he aptly describes as ‘Rebirth in Mind’.
Born and bred in Etsako West LGA, Edo State, Nigeria, Gen Sadiq has had his fair share of ‘street life’ having been disposed to thuggery and dined with forces who didn’t mean well for society. Music became his sole escape. He was only going to do it his own way.
Hence, Sadiq seeks a revolutionary beginning with the release of the single titled ‘My Way’.
