Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos’ might be criticized by some quarters of music lovers, the album is not one to just fade away in a moment.

While some fans had called out Star Boy for releasing a compilation of songs they describe as “a baby making album”, the Surulere-born singer is setting the heights with Made in Lagos.

Barely a week one of the most anticipated albums dropped, Wizkid can now smile as his musical piece raked in over 100 million streams across digital streaming platforms.

The album which was released on the 29th of October, 2020, features Burna Boy, Skepta, Tems, Tay Iwar, Tems, Ella Mai, H.E.R, Damian Marley, and Projexx has been breaking records and climbing charts globally.

The album snagged the 14th spot on the UK albums charts, made the highest debut ever by a Nigerian album on YouTube Nigeria, and now it has surpassed 100 million streams on all streaming platforms which include Youtube NG, Boomplay, Apple Music, Spotify, and Audiomack.

Interestingly, these are all new heights yet unmatched and records set by Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos“.
