Despite regaining her freedom from the custody of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Instagram Skit maker Rukayat Adedamola Adewale popularly known as Adeherself is still battling a fraud related case.
This was made known through a post shared on social media by the anti-graft agency to update everyone in the ongoing trial of the celebrity.
Adeherself was recently re-arraigned in court for her role in an alleged cybercrime before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja.
According to reports on the EFCC website, a prosecution witness, Samuel Orie who is a compliance officer at the Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) was brought against the social media celeb.
The witness tendered documents which shows the statement of account of the defendant which was made available upon the commissions request.
The Judge in charge of the case Justice Sholebo adjourned the case to October 26, 2020 to continue the trial.
