Brief Biography of Carter Efe
Oderhohwo Josepth Efe, going by the moniker Carter Efe or Carterefe, is a Nigerian music artiste, comedian and content creator.
Born on 29th September 1995 to the family of Mr/Mrs Efe in Ughelli Warri, Delta State; Carter Efe is known for ripping off his shirts in videos and skits.
The 26-year-old started sharing videos on social media in 2018, but didn’t receive quality attention due to his limited fanbase.
Two years later (2020), he gained domi- nance in the country’s skit scene, after being featured in several comedy and dance videos with popular comedians and influencers.
In July 2022, Carter Efe, alongside singer-songwriter Berri-Tiga, put out a ‘WizKid-inspired’ single titled ‘Machala’. The single was released under Gurusfiles Media.
The Afrobeats/Amapiano piece, debuted at #14 on Billboard’s US Afrobeats Songs Chart. Since then, it has garnered over 10 million streams on all digital streaming platforms.
