BET Awards unveils entertainers for 20th edition

The Black Entertainment Television (BET) network has announced the first group of performers for the BET Awards 2020.

According to Vanguard, Alicia Keys, Chloe X Halle, DaBaby, D Smoke, Jennifer Hudson and John Legend are billed to perform at the 20th award event.

Other artistes slated to thrill the audience at the occasion include Jonathan McReynolds, Kane Brown, Lil Wayne, Megan Thee Stallion, Summer Walker, Usher, Wayne Brady and many more.

Meanwhile, BET Amplified Artistes, Masego and Lonr are set to take the BET Amplified Music Stage, a platform for emerging artistes.

Hosted by comedian and actress Amanda Seales, the BET Awards 2020 will simulcast LIVE at 01:00 WAT on June 29th on BET Africa channel (DStv Channel 129).

While repeat broadcasts of the BET Awards Pre-Show is slated on June 29th at 18:00 WAT and BET Awards Main Show Repeat June 29th at 19:00 WAT.

Recently, Nigerian music icons, Burna Boy and Rema, were nominated for the Best International Act and Viewers’ Choice Best New International Act categories respectively.

The BET Awards is an American award show that was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other American minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment.
